"custom keywords"
is there a list of custom keywords you can say to people?
does this exist anywhere?

I tried to google it and all i find are a couple of Reddit posts leading to another Reddit post that "supposedly" has a list but when i go to it, it says "deleted". as if someone saw the list and was like "nope, you can't have this, poof!"

further commentary down that page leads me to a thread on the inXile forums, claiming to have the list.
I also see a Steam thread posting a link to that same forum,

but when i go to the forum, there is no list anywhere, only people talking abot this "list" that doesn't exist.
one post links back to that reddit post that loops in onto the inXile forum.

someone posted a link to a googledrive pdf file when when i go there, the file doesn't exist anymore.

it's as if inXile policed the internet and removed it.

given that these keywords are impossible to find ingame as there are absolutely no clues to help you discover them and people only discovered them through datamining, why is this feature even in the game?!

why put a feature in a game that you don't want anyone using?

that's the one...when i click it, i get a "loading" icon and it just loads and loads forever.
I dunno, maybe it's something to do with my device, if that's the case then my bad...but still how come this information doesn't exist anywhere else? it looks like it existed there in the past and someone destroyed it.

I dunno, I just tried it again and it worked, go figure.

Living in a post-gamefaqs world I guess? People just all link to the same doc somewhere and if it goes down, that's it.

Basically if it's plot-relevant you can still find those words on wikis at the point where they show up. But no one's bothering to write up a nicely formatted guide to upload.

There are hints to some of these, though. In the sense that they're people and things that are mentioned in the game, by characters in the same town or as part of the same quest. You're just expected to experiment and get it through trial and error, like in ye olden days before there even was an internet.

so, there are hints? I guess I'm just too dumb to see them. although, I dunno, this is an inXile game. . .i needed a guide for half the BS puzzles on Bard's Tale trilogy as well

Some of them are obscure, definitely, but a lot of it is just remembering that the keyword system exists and asking them about NPCs, quest objectives, and lore.
