Why is everyone always naked?

all my characters have gone kinda nude (only wearing panties and bra).
if i dress em new clothes i find, they are naked again like 5 minutes later the next time i look at the inventory.

did i make stripper characters?
get the clothes destroyed if someones shooting at u?
is it just a bug?

Nuke grenades (mad monk suicide explosions) destroy clothes, so that could be the reason.

monks are dead, those rattlesnake people are mad at me cause i disarmed silo 7, and i have no idea how to find my way to demonta, im like running around the map for an hour now and have literally no idea lul

Damonta is waaay to the south of Silo 7. Much closer to the Canyon of Titan than one would expect. Just walk in the middle of the area east of the canyon and it should pop out of the ground. Unless there's a bug preventing it from doing so.

IIRC, so does the steam coming out of the pipes in the tunnles of Angel Oracle.

I'll keep that in mind then, when I get around to exploring those tunnels. Good thing I edited my savefile to give my female Rangers matching top and bottom underwear. It should be safe to undress if they have to walk through steam. But I'm expecting ways to avoid the steam.

If you have some one with Brute Force in the group, you can use them to turn off the steam. If it's on a recruit they can't unequip (or be stripped of) their clothes.
Or at least after having to run past a few steaming pipes to get to the valve Chisel isn't wearing any less than he normally is.

I do have someone with Brute Force. Only 9 though, since I still don't have the skill book. But there's always milk!

IIRC, the Mechanic skill can work on them as well.

SELL ALL CLOTHING ON YOUR PERSON AND ANY THAT YOU FIND, EXTRA MONEY, LESS WEIGHT AND IT DOESNT HURT YOUR GUYS IN ANY WAY.

But clothes look cool. Though you can probably edit your save file to make your Rangers' underwear look like regular torso and leg clothing. The hair slot can certainly be made into any hair or hat or helmet.
