So if you can, make sure you strip her of anything and everything you can from her. Because otherwise you won't be seeing any of it again.
Though I suppose reloading wouldn't bring your Outdoorsman back. Just the ammo and other stuff Angela walked away with.
I had come to rely on having those skills of her's.
I won't lie, it was so bad for me the first time that it was easier to start over than to keep going
Good thing I like using character creators in games
pretty sure thats the same in all versions but not 100%.
in the DC version she only starts at level 8 so she isn't as powerful as the non-DC version where she started at level 20.
but yeah she should give you her ammo when she leaves what she takes is her gun and armor.
which could have been worth keeping.
Now I'd have to replay almost the entirety of the rail tribe areas and plotline (about 5 hours) if I go back to an older save with her still in the party, hell no.
Whoever thought that making her simply disappear without warning was a good idea should actually think things THROUGH before making a change like that without changing ANYTHING in the actual dialogue and in game descriptions. Without implementing anything that at least makes all her equipment pop up in the citadel's storage box. Without any NPC telling you she is gone for good. Nope. It's essentially a bug that'll never get fixed becaused it is bloody intentional and the dev dropped support and moved on to the developing the sequel years ago.
And if people sinking XP into her without knowing that she'll drop out of the party after a while is a problem, just add a line in Angela's recruitment dialogue where she says "But I might be recalled later, so don't count on me being able to stick around". There, one line of dialogue that would fix the issue without having to break so many systems, creating so many headaches for players and particularly having the players doubt the truth of every single tooltip and gameplay hint when it turns out that they sometimes hand out information that is completely false and actually harmful if believed.
EDIT: Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I am just that ticked off.
