Has author ever played Demonophobia?

Gives the same general vibes and the world feels familiar. I'm having some horrible flashbacks now (which is a good thing).

i couldn't get past the first level... so i just browsed a walkthrough... i regret doing even that.

I've cleared the game without any guides. It's far worse than you think it is - it only gets infinitely more cruel and sadistic with every passing level. And the end's not worth all the suffering - it is basically like "This Book is a Dungeon" 's good(?) ending, but far, far worse.

Beware if you do - that game is pretty much Japanese "Sad Satan" when it comes to the magnitude of shock value.
