Stuck very early in game

After I got my sword and first armament I went back to the first flowerpod to get the item. There's a part of the circle ruin you can punch and it shifts it all the way around. Now I can't get out of this area. I also respawn in this same area and I'm stuck. You can walk on the ruins on to the platform and it the camera zooms out but it still doesn't change a thing.

Have you slashed the trees down? There are hidden routes down? I found you need to look at the map and then explore a little.

Which trees? Most of the larger trees can't be slashed, it seems. I've slashed nearly every bush, tried to use my hammer on about every possible wall/gate

Davy, look for the dead looking trees, not the fully green ones. The robot slashes some early on to give you a bit of a hint. There is a fair bit of exploring around to find what to do. Sorry if I can't help any further, I've sort of just muddled my way along so far. But I'm really enjoying it... :)

I'm not there anymore. I'm at the start, where you first spawn. I ran all the way back to collect the flowerpod. There are no deadlooking tree's unfortunately. I'll try to provide more screenshots

Yeah I know where you mean. I don't think you can do anything there yet. I'm fairly certain theres another arm upgrade which will let you turn the switch in the middle.

Go back to the forge area and there are some trees at the bottom (if I remember correctly). Oh and look for walls to smash... :)

That's the problem. I can't get back :P Every door doesn't work. The right one doesn't work nor the left one :P

There should be a way out. I got stuck there for a while too, after doing the same thing you did, but eventually found the way out... just wish I could remember where it was exactly. Pretty sure it's off to the right but don't quote me on that.

Just been back there. A door and a window don't open (but you can get to the other side later on), but there is a door to the right which should be open (opened by the robot earlier in the game)?

The door to the right is closed. I guess it's bugged.
