Please help, stuck and google isnt helping.

I really want to keep playing but i am beyond frustrated and stuck in the first area.
the robot guy pointed at couple towers and what i assume is a power line, but now theres nothing,
Ive broken all the walls, hit all the punch buttons, and collected all the upgrades i can see, but i am trapped. There is nowhere to go and i cannot progress.
There are two doors that can be opened with said robot friend, but he will not move.
Any help would be appreciated, as i said google is coming up with nothing.
