[BUG] Stuck in Lightning Dungeon

I finished up my game and started backtracking to find all the power-ups I missed. In the dungeon that's the center of the lightning strike zone, I found some missed goods but something went wrong. There's an area at the very bottom towards the end where you have to move across some floating platforms. You move across one, activate a panel, then pick up a battery, move across the second platform and drop the battery in to a receiver. Then you activate a wall panel and a teleport pad nearby is supposed to lift into place, giving you a limited amount of time to run back across, climb a ladder, and use the teleport pad on the starting side to cross back over to the main part of the dungeon.

Well, that all went fine and dandy the first time, but now the teleport pad is out of place and I can't activate the switch to move it back! I'm effectively stuck in the dungeon. The only other way out to my knowledge is the ramp slide you go down to get in. I'm going to try a backup save but I've been running around in here for so long looking for what I think is a second vista point that I'm almost positive all my saves are at the bottom of this dungeon.

I came here to post the exact same thing. I encountered the same game-breaking bug when I backtracked to open the "chest" I had left.

I got this same exact bug. I was able to finally get out of it by restarting the game a bunch until the top platform worked (not ideal, I know). The bottom platform that moves never got fixed from restarting, but the top platform that you use to warp magically started working. Keep restarting (or maybe try respawning) and keep trying to warp from the top platform. It sadly took me ~30 minutes of trying to get lucky. I made a ticket a few days ago with my save file but haven't heard anything back yet, besides "send us your specs / other info files and we will look into this."

Somehow I lucked out and my very last backup save was in the dungeon before I broke the puzzle... but also before I got the XP stache down there. Can anyone confirm there are two Vista Spots in this dungeon? I'd like to have a rough idea where I'm headed before I try to go back in

Also Devs... not to winge, even with the bugs I am still loving the game but... all of this could be avoided with a manual save feature

Thank you. I just reloaded the game twice and the platform worked.

Whatever they're using for tracking player progress (I'd guess a finite-state machine), the dungeon probably gets stuck in a hybrid state since it seems to have been partially reset (on my first run, the second platform shown on the right of my screenshot "bug 3" was turned off... I think).

I encountered the issue that you described in the water area to the far northeast -- there's a teleport pad that is on a floating platform that you'll raise by increasing the water level. I know that this several years later, but thought that I'd provide a solution for others like myself who are playing this game for the first time after receiving it on the Epic game store.

I tried several times to reload the game to no effect... in fact I did it so many times that I overwrote all of my backup save files, meaning I couldn't just revert to an earlier save. Thankfully, I found a solution. The puzzle with the teleport platform in the water dungeon is still solvable.

In the water area, you have just enough range to jump north across the gap. If you do so and use the teleport platform on that side, you'll notice that it returns you back to the center platform.

So, what you need to do:

1) Punch the center, floating teleport pad so that it faces to the RIGHT.
2) Manually jump across the gap so that you can reach the northern teleport pad
3) Use that northern teleport pad...

It will send you down to the center, which will now shunt you over to the teleport pad on the right! Now you can complete the puzzle and continue on with the game.
