Iron Gate in the Viking Marauder mission

Hello guys, so can someone tell me how u can open Iron Gate to the Sea Cave in this mission? Was looking for lever everywhere and couldn't find it. Unlce google also didn't help

There is a chest tied to rope and a stake in the ground. You break the stake and the treasure chest will float down to the shore. When you walk out of the cave it is to the north. In the chest is a rusty key.
