The build of thor and extremely strong, nonsensical damage focused on lifesteal crit you get almost immortal. There is a very big unbalance with the tree of thor.
Particularly I preferred to play with Odin tree, but the cooldown score of the game is extremely crazy! There is no mathematics that explains what xD
But by his conquests I noticed that you have not yet obtained some basics as a follower of thor, finish in vallhalla mode, and valhalla mode in the most difficult and NG +
Believe in NG + the mobs are much more sharp: D
It can be an extra time.
i start on easy im lvl 16
i got a second character on normal im lvl 3
do i care ? no
ill play the game the way i want
but you can take a second Cookie
*here a second cookie*
you happy now ?
and i feel boss are hard. my lvl 2 archer wasn't able to beat the first boss on normal
which i did with my first character thor on easy
thanks, will do valhalla mode next, but i totally held back, i didnt really need lifesteal, since dodge speed was so storng, you was able to totally control your dodge after you started dodging. but its still way to easy tho, life steal or no lifesteal. i mean, i played so many difficulty games the last couple of months on the highest difficulty. and i am abit disapointed. life steal alone, will not keep you alive on trash at einherjar, but against bosses, i am sure i could beat them with my elbows on einherjar.
not sure what to say lol,.. this is the easiest game ever, ive NEVER EVER played a game EVER thats this easy on the highest difficulty..
So for some players it might be easy, for others it might be hard.
As each and every player is unique and a person on his/her own, this is just natural and applies to actually everything, not only games.
Nevertheless it is all about having fun and having an awesome time and exchange with other fellow players/gamers.
So it would be awesome seeing all of you discussing, rather than trying to start arguments, where it simply makes no sense as just each and everybody is different and has an own mind. ;)
-cheers
well let me tell you! i had fun, alot of fun :D
game was awesome, especially since it was rather low price. a good 20 hour of fun... as good as diablo in my opinion, but lacks end game...
however, i wish you added another difficulty mode. einherjar is very easy, even for players that is slightly better than average. you should add something like ragnarok mode..
ragnarok mode suggestion
- enemy attack speed+ damage + movement speed doubled.
- boss attack dmg doubled + attack speed doubled + random aoe attacks on the ground that forces you to dodge alot
+ health doubled ofc for bosses!
neither way i loved the game, it deseveres better than a mixed review. but ive never ever seen a game thats this easy at the highest difficulty.
(Good) Gear is a large factor in how difficult the game is or isn't, particularly early on, and whether players have good gear early on or not is largely based on luck.
Once you make it past the Jokull, though, it's relatively smooth sailing. There's no way i'm going up against that boss wtih a lvl3 with whatever dropped along the way on Einherjar Valhalla though, that's just too likely to go wrong
I've found Thor to actually be one of the weaker starting choices on Einherjar, because you generally cannot count on 1-hitting trash, so you're at constant high risk of taking a lot of damage from enemies like Tomte and the Wolves, which hit quickly and with good range.
Since i usually don't play this kind of games, it's actually quite challanging for me and i have a lot of fun.
Have you actually went to the altar in order to sacrifice blood to level up and get new skill-points?
As level 2 really sounds pretty low for Jokul. You should be at least level 3 when confronting him.
Are you playing the game for the first time at all? If so, why starting on hard? It would be always recommended on starting on normal/warrior,when playing Vikings - Wolves of Midgard for the first time, especially since we have released version 2.0, which completely was/is a rework and rebalance of the game.
