Melee does not stand in place.
I am using it on my characters, Melee (dual welding or 2 handed) or bow class without an issue. I will keep your character in one spot. Its very useful when casting the healing spell and just stay in middle and spam your attacks ;)
addd a rebind then, if its a hidden key
there a healing spell ?
but the melee character i used sometime just go and hit an enemy 3 meter away. and like jump and attack. but i never want to do that. i dont understand how melee works in this game. i try to move inside a group of monster. but i end up attacking. very weird
There is an artifact with a healing/damage circle effect you can stand in. Talisman of Frigga.
He had me confused too since when you are melee you move in the direction you are attacking based on the animation (the animation is moving the character). What he really means is by holding left shift you disable the "move to cursor click" effect when using the mouse to attack.
Best way i found is. you keep rolling around with Right Mouse button so your hero will not attack them. and at the same time i got to be able to get a bonus of like 800-1000 blood sometimes from one mega slaughter :)
The healing talisman i am only using to avoid dying in HC mode. pretty efficient spell with unlimited charges ;)
Switch to control scheme 1 that gives you move (left) attack (right) dodge is still wasd and space.
