Report a translation problem
The person joining, does level and get ressources and such, just fine. The missions goes on, for that person as well, as long as they are in the same game - but as soon as they leave; it goes back to what they got to when they played solo or when they hosted a game themselves.
.. they have to go through the quests themselves, if they ever want to host the game or just play themselves. Can't pick up where the they left off, from multiplayer - only the host can.
If you only play together; then that won't be a problem at all though :)
