it was a fun little game to play with friends now and then. when we played it, i don't recall any particular bugs or anything, so i don't know why it really even needed to be updated, or changed into anything else. if there were issues with the newer version, then i don't see why it couldn't just be rolled back to a version that everybody seemed to like, and released as *finished*. the lack of the planned future updates would still be a shame, but hey, plans fall through, times and situations change, so it seems like a 'sorry we weren't able to do that after all, but here's the final version, hope you enjoy it as it is" would put an end to the expectation of changes and still leave the product available for those who still want that fun little get together experience.
i dunno, that's just my thoughts.
