I believe dev said it's technically not EA but he still plans to do tons of work on it.
Either way I agree about it being one of the best I ever played too.
Absolutely, it's one of the better EA games out there.
Game still needs some tweaking though, and a bit more content.
It is something to see isn't it.
People over the years been programmed to think this way. I never fell for it but so many people do think this way, and they don't erven realize that they have been manipulated.
This could very well be true but any gamer worth their salt knows that graphics doesn't make a game, it's gameplay, and this game has it in spades.
You are most likely right though, people look at it, and can't get passed the look of the game.
There is another game I play from time to time, and it's called Portal Knights, and the graphics are top of the line, but it's a voxel game, and the people who do play it support it simply because it has some very nice gameplay, but again people can't seem to get passed voxel.
In my personal opinion, minecraft (although a pretty decent game at the time) has poisoned the gaming industry simply because of how badly it saturated the market with "Minecraft this, and minecraft that".
Same goes for Zombie games. I am so sick of them that even the mention of zombies in any game makes me pass on it without giving the game a second thought.
Same goes for all industries, take the movie industry, I am so sick to death Starwars. I am a hugh fan of the original theatrical version of the movie, but now it's Starwars this, and sstarwars that... I just won't watch anything recently made that has a starwars flavour too it.
Sick to death of it.
Absolutely, but I don't think people think about how hard it is to do anything from a development standpoint when purchasing any game. For me, I normally will pass on anything that looks like minecraft.
They see what it looks like, maybe watch a video trailer, maybe pass on the video, and read the reviews, or they do none of that, and simply see, and think "Oh God not another minecraft game".
For myself, i thought exactly that, I hate Minecraft, and when I saw that it was a voxel game I passed on it immediately, and if it wasn't for my friend john, I would never have purchased two copies, and played the game which is now one of my most favorite games in my library.
