What is HEAVEN’S HOPE?
Heaven’s Hope is the thrilling adventure of Talorel, an angel that accidentally stranded on Earth. He needs to get back to Heaven as fast as he can; however, he lost his wings and his halo. Not his sole problem on his journey, filled with charming characters, exciting riddles and lots of humor.

What kind of game is HEAVEN’S HOPE?
Heaven’s Hope is a point&click adventure. The player experiences a fun story and has to solve dodgy riddles to get Talorel back to Heaven.

Can I save games whenever I want?
Yes, you can save as many savegames as you want throughout the game at any point.

Are there hints in the game? Highlighted hotspots?
Yes. There are not only hotspots but also two heavenly guides. They can give you hints and clues in the game at any point if you desire. Also, there’s a quest book available, all progress is stored there and the guides can hint you there as well.

Can we create „Let’s plays“ for HEAVEN’S HOPE and upload them?
Sure! We appreciate every „Let’s Play“.

Are there different endings in the game?
There are subtle different endings in the story, focusing on the fate of various characters. The frame story roughly remains the same.

Is there a demo to the game?
Right now we haven’t planned a demo, we’ll notify you here on STEAM should we release one.

Are there any other languages planned besides English and German?
At the moment no other localizations are planned. Should we realize there is a need for it, this might be subject to change and other localizations could happen.

Releases for Mac OS or Linux?
The game should run on Mac OS flawlessly. Unfortunately, no plans for a Linux version.

What is the maximum resolution for the game?
Full HD – 1920x1080

Is there a manual and where do I find it?
If you purchased the boxed edition of Heaven’s Hope it comes with the box. On STEAM you can access and download the quickstart-manual PDF as soon as you’ve purchased the game.

How do my decisions impact the game?
The decisions have an impact on the story, sometimes more, sometimes less, however the frame story remains unchanged.

How often can I call upon help (the question mark in the upper right corner) in the game?
As often as you want to! Each segment of the game yields its relevant hints. The first time Salome, the first guide, gives you a discreet clue, the second time Azael, the other guide gives a more direct hint.

How often can I resort to Salomes and Azaels hints in the quest book?
As often as you want to, too! In each segment of the game, when you click the quest book, you get the relevant hints. At first Talorel describes the situation without any hints, the Salome gives her discreet clue and last Azael comes up with a direct hint.

How do you play HEAVEN´S HOPE?
Heaven’s Hope is played with both mouse and keyboard.

What are the mouse keybinds?
Left mouse button
Single click: moves to mouse pointer position
Double click: moves to mouse pointer position, but faster
double click on exit: exit screen fast
when controlling companion: walking, grabbing items (for example moving a block)
when controlling Anselm
above his head: companion jumps

Right mouse button
item attached to cursor: unhitch item from mouse cursor
during a dialogue: jumps to next dialogue line
when controlling companion
holding an item: drops item

What are the keyboard binds?
Space : highlights hotspots and exits
ESC: opens option menu (alternatively the cog icon in the upper left corner)
M: opens the map for fast travel (alternatively click the map icon)
J: opens the quest book (alternatively click the quest book)
I: opens the inventory (moving the mouse pointer to the lower edge of the screen accomplishes the same)
P: pauses he game
F: switches between full-screen and windowed mode

How can I combine an item with a hotspot or a character?
An item is attached to the mouse pointer with a left click. Now you can interact with the hotspot or the character by making another left click on the object.

How do I install HEAVEN’S HOPE?
If you purchased the boxed edition: put the DVD in your DVD drive and start installation with the setup.exe (in case the setup doesn’t start automatically). Select your favorite language and install the game in the chosen file. If you haven’t installed the STEAM client by now, you’ll be prompted to do so. Follow the instructions on screen and enter your activation key if requested (you can find that key on the manual cover in your box).

Can I play HEAVEN´S HOPE without a STEAM account?
Unfortunately, no. Heaven’s Hope needs to be added to your STEAM account.

i just purchased Heavens Hope and its all in german how do i get it in english as i cant play it in german do not understsand german help

Thanks for the feedback.
Open up the option menu (either on start of the game or ingame, click the tiny little gear icon in the top left corner) and click options. There you can change the language for subtitles and audio on the fly.

Well I've just finished. I'm a 3PP P&C adventure nut so overall I really enjoyed it. My only criticism was the puzzles especially the shooting bits. If I wanna do that I'd buy a shooter! I'd prefer a skip option with puzzles. Got a bit stuck with the gears on the door and reconstructing the notes and had to refer to the video walkthrough once or twice. If there is a sequel, which I hope "I'll be back" means there will, please give the option to give these a miss (especially the shooter stuff) if we want to. However a 9/10. :-D

The throwing minigame for example will be mitigated a bit and we will add an option to skip. Should be in an upcoming patch this week.
