Ship location ???
I have amassed a fleet and traveled the galaxy. Seems I may be near the end of the content currently available, so I decided to start demanding tribute from pirate planets. Got Arneb and Alnilam, but then I noticed my Rano'erek has its location listed as being in the ??? system, and it doesn't seem to be catching up with my fleet despite waiting quite a while.
I've had to track down ships that fell behind while crossing over to Successor territory, but this isn't anywhere near that.
Any ideas where my ship could be?

Go to the 'Load/Save...' section from the main menu, then hit 'Open Saves' button on the left. That will open a window to the folder where your game saves are. Open your current file in a text editor like Notepad or whatever, and you'll find a list of all your ships right after the 'reputation' list. Every ship entry should have a current location('system') somewhere at the end.

If necessary, you can edit that with a valid system name e.g. 'system Sol', and it will be moved to that system. You may need/want to close the game before making the edit, and be very careful.

That's a tricky one. Since that area isn't hyper linked...how fond are you of that ship?

It is outfitted for boarding. 400 Coalition anti-materiel rifles and such. Slightly important to my fleet.
Could its location be listed in a save file or somesuch?

I'm not the guy to ask about technical details, sorry. I'd just go system-hopping thru that area. But I tend to do everything the hard way. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Go back and check your route to recent locations. Ships trapped at jump gates sometimes need to be shepherded back to the main fleet.

Seems my ship is at "Al Hurr"

...No such system is listed on my galaxy map. Maybe it routed weirdly, maybe it's a bug. Maybe it's a MYSTERY.
