hai is an alien galaxy. or galaxys. its hidden. and requires a wormhole to get there. keep going ahead of Nihal And Mirfak till you reach sumar. there will be a sector of it to the southwest keep going till you reach Ultimathule and there will be a purple circle enter it. and voila.:steamhappy:

Confirmed. From Sumar, you can warp to the Ultimathule system. In the Ultimathule system, look for a purple wormhole. "Land" on it to go through, to a branch of planets controlled by the Hai. Mostly peaceful, three "pirate" systems. Some new tech, some new ships. Not too advanced, compared to other places, but a nice change-up.

And those Hai energy draining weapons are quite interesting when battling those "underdeveloped Human pirates"

Shield Beetles are pretty amazing ships if you can afford them, and Hai shielding is among the best in the game because of their great regen per space ratio, at the cost of a small amount of heat (easily counteracted).

The smaller two hai ships are a little underwhelming--but it's well worth the trip to hai space just for those other things, they're a nice "tech jump" between standard human ships and the hyperadvanced quarg ships
I've gotten to the hai, and their shield beetles I've equipped with korath + quarg tech. But I kept their steering, replaced the thruster with graviton though. 20 of them, each with quarg shielding. more then enough to fight any human ship. And with my 14 combat rating. I can't seem to demand tribute, Is it possible for you to tribute the hai planets? I want to capture every planet in the game, I've taken down the entire free-worlds syndicate and republic, but 3/4 quarg planets are too stubborn to let me attempt. anyone else with this problem?

Not a bug. Alien planets currently can't be captured. They'll always say "Please don't joke about that," no matter how big your fleet is or what your combat rating is.

Actually, the whole game currently takes place in the same galaxy (the Milky Way,) excepting the post-story wormhole.

Yea Hai space isn't a seperate galaxy just a seperate group of systems, nothing more.
