my pc is very old and sucky
My drivers for w7 dont support it I know that, though I am on a GMA 4500M chipset.
I didn't get the impression that this game was graphics intensive either, am I wrong? Anyway, if anyone figures out a fix for this issue I'd be thankful to hear it as I'd love to try out this game.
Any chance to lower the requirements in future? Would love to play that game when I'm on the road.
All well and good, but it doesnt change the fact that you made a low end game, graphically, and forced people to use modern equipment to run it.
Many people with low end PC look for games like this, I fear you have alienated a portion of your prospective audiance by forcing opengl 3.0.
Take a look at an upcoming indie title called Balrum, it started on gl 2.0 then went to gl 3.0, but it has the option to enable the old renderer and play the game normally with lowered effects.
Its a good way to get as many customers as possible. In fact Hollywood does it all the time, that is why we have action movies with romance and suspense and some horror, because they want to target as many audiances as possible.
But indeed, I would trade that faction-color thing for the sake of playing that game on my notebook.
