From another thread:

Linux: ~/.local/share/endless-sky/saves/
Windows: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\endless-sky\saves\
Mac OS X: ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/endless-sky/saves/

The Library folder is hidden by default on recent OS X versions. See this article to show it:

I can see my library file, but there is no Endless Sky save file in it. There aren't any Steam files in it. I can view other Endless Sky files by looking at local content through Steam, but I can't find the saves

Did you go into Library/Application Support for your ID or were you looking in the /Library folder (which you would see if you went directly into the hard drive in Finder)?

Open Finder, from the Go menu select Home and look for Library, which should be sort of muted compared to other folders. Right-click (or two-finger click on a trackpad) and select Open in a new Tab, then open Application Support and it should be there.

I don't know what to recommend if it's not; I just installed it on a Mac and the save files were there.

I tried searching for appdata, roaming, endless, endless-sky and found nothing.
My PC simply has none of those directories. Endless Sky in the Steam\steamapps\common\ was the only one which showed up, and it has no saves.

What verison of windows are you using? Are you even using windows? Also Appdata is hidden folder. You will have to enable view hidden folders. (If your on using a verison of windows as your OS.)

What I would do is name a file something weird, like SaveFileToFindWithSearch, and then do a search of your computer with the windows search function. That should find it.

or just search for <inserthispilotsname>.txt e.g. if you named your Pilot Rob Bumlicker, it would be "Rob Bumlicker.txt".

I deleted the rest of his post except for the windows line because I'm using windows...

But I didn't know AppData was a hidden folder, that helped. Thanks.
