How do you get to the worlds on the east?

I'm talking about the 7 worlds that are north of the almach system, southeast of durax, and near sheratan and polaris. Can anyone tell me how i get there? Is there a wormhole like the one to the hai systems?

They require a jump drive to get to, which you receive near the end of the free worlds campaign

With a Hyperdrive or Scram Drive you can only travel along the white "hyperlink" lines you see between star systems on the map. A Jump Drive lets you prettymuch teleport to any star system within a range of your current one. This allows you to get to cut-off stars and also allows for a few short cuts in regular human space.

Is that also how you get to that system in the center of Republic territory, south of Vega and such?

hehe, that requires a jump drive as well, but you'll find it much easier to keep playing through the free worlds campaign and youll get there. thats all i can say because spoilers
