Thank you. I didn't know where to start looking. Assuming you're correct that's rather disappointing, their ships are easy to capture (unlike Quarg, Korath, and Pug they have no biodefenses) but their reputation is so barely above 0 that as soon as you attack any of their ships to capture one they immediately become unfriendly and none of their planets allow landing, so it's impossible to get to an outfitter and equip one with a jump drive.
And the rest of their tech, while unique and interesting, is also kinda meh considering by the time you get to them you'll have already met the Hai and probably also the Korath who offer better stuff.
Guess we'll just have to wait until the next questline comes out that lets us get a license.
Would seem to be a good solution to your issue, until a way to get wanderer liscenses is added ofc.
Edit: Well I added a few 0's to the Wanderers Reputation and that allowed me to be able to land on all the planets..
It's easy to know what they're like, you can see the stats on the shipyard screen. The issue is being able to obtain them, which presently without any way to increase reputation there is none, even by pirating, as once you start attacking they turn unfriendly so you can't land and equip a jump drive. At least none legitimate, i.e. not counting save editing.
