How do I refuel an escort that's in null space?

Hi, I've got ^ this problem..
I've tried highlighting it and pressing B... and Shift B..

I don't know how to get it to jump with me.. seems to have some fuel.
(this whole problem started when I took a pirate bounty mission, disabled the pirate ship and took it over xD. Then my escort stayed and the pirate ship came along with me)

I destroyed the pirate escort as I thought it had bugged something. But now my original escort is stuck out of fuel..

What's the current hotkey to refuel an out of fuel escort?

Escorts are refueled when you board them, so B would be correct. They should jump with you normally when you press J, unless you told them to hold position. If this is a ship you just captured, and you stole the engines off of it before capturing it, then it is stuck because it, well, has no engines.

Also worth adding that escorts in your fleet that have fuel to spare will automatically refuel your stranded escorts. You can even order your escorts to jump into an adjacent system while you stay behind, and they will automatically refuel whatever escort is stranded there, and they will both jump back to you. This has helped me on many occasions.

ahh i did loot a few things. i don't seem to be able to board it now it's moving again

maybe iv'e ordered it to a system, i'll try boarding it again
