Reputation mechanics as of 2024?
I've done a few searches, but everything that comes up seems to be from years ago. With the changes that have happened over the course of Early Access, it's possible that some things may have changed since then(?)

On the subject of 'farming' reputation. If I want to raise a specific faction, I can generally...
1. Kill its enemies
2. Repair disabled ships of that faction
3. (rarer?) complete certain quests for that faction

Looking specifically in the "governments" game file, if a government doesn't have faction adjustments listed for those specific actions, does that mean it doesn't track it at all, or is there 'defaults' for all governments unless specified/excluded?

I'm asking specifically because I was thinking of trying to raise a hostile faction to make bribes less expensive by waiting around in a common battleground zone and just 'repairing' ships of that faction as they become disabled.

Is it still the case that actions taken for or against one faction will then award 1/10th the amount opposite to the opposing faction?

My specific case, I'm trying to raise my faction with Both Hai and Unfettered to soften the blow a little bit before I start collecting Shield Beetles for my own use/fleet. I feel like the Hai/Unfettered is a common enough alien that it probably doesn't need spoiler guards - but just in case, here they are.

When looking under the hood, the government info lists the following for Unfettered
"attitude toward" "Hai (Unfettered Wanderer Tribute)" 2 "Hai" -.01 "Hai (Wormhole Access)" -.01 "Hai Merchant" -.01 "Hai Merchant (Sympathizers)" .1 "Hai (Friendly Unfettered)" 1 "Hai (Unfettered Civilians)" 2 "Hai Merchant (Human)" -.01 "Wanderer" -.01 "Pug" -.01 "Pug (Wanderer)" -.01 "Merchant" -.01 "Kor Efret" -.01 "Elenctic Commune" .1 "foreign penalties for" "Hai (Friendly Unfettered)" "Hai (Unfettered Wanderer Tribute)" "Hai (Unfettered Civilians)" "penalty for" disable 0

I know most faction adjustments are simply multipliers applied on the number of crew of any given ship based on its faction. There is no adjustment listed for Assist, Board, Capture, Destroy, etc, literally only 'Disable', and that is to make it 0.

If not explicitly listed, does that mean it's simply x1 by default?

Are multipliers below 0.05 still ignored?

Is it still full value for the recipient of an action and 1/10th for its opposing faction(s)? i.e. Can I, for instance, help two random sides in a random battlezone by simply repairing disabled ships of both sides for an eventual net reputation bump for myself to each if i keep the number of rescues roughly balanced for each side?

Am I missing/misunderstanding any other details about the mechanic and/or how the internal numbers work?

Yes, still ignored.

is there 'defaults' for all governments unless specified/excluded?

Yes, there are default modifiers for taking certain actions if they aren't specified.
