Scan the void sprites, can't see scanner

I haven't played this in ages, pleased to see that there is new content.
Having a problem with the 'Scan the void sprites' Remnant mission.
You can see in this image that the 'mission' equipment is listed in the info for my flagship, it is taking up space, I have outfit space free but it isn't showing up in cargo.
What am I doing wrong here?
(The broken jump drive mass is 20 + 60 * 0.1 for the Keystones = 26 + 13 for the invisible eq = 39)

It's cargo, not outfits. It's a subtle thing but there is a dividing blank line in the cargo listing.

An outfit scanner did the job. It seems that the mission cargo is not a scanner. A little confusing but it's done.
Now in the Puffin, can't go to the sprites because I would not be able to carry the mission cargo.
This is because the mission cargo is another job, the Remnant surveillance mission. Have to do that first.

You could take off with a few escorts; they'll carry the cargo. I tend to order them to stop anywhere near the Void Sprites & Archon star system, tho...

I did think of that, just did the other mission first. I have Shield Beetles and two jump drives.
That poor Puffin got blown up a dozen times before I managed to land on both planets. Not my best effort on that mission.

How does one get the puffin into the Void sprite system when it doesn't have a jump drive

with hyperdrive and quantum keystone

but the puffin comes full equip for the mission

the trick is to not lose whole fleet with Puffin
