i use the keypad for flight...guess i'm a bit of an oddball...

right hand;
8 forward
5 reverse
4, 6 turn
0 afterburner
7 nearest target
'tab' next target
9 scan
3 jump
. land

left hand;
'x' secondary safety
'option' secondary fire
'space' primary fire (though usually autofire is enabled, 'cause i've gotten lazy with age)
r/f/g/h fighter commands

it makes mousing in combat a little awkward, but i've managed well enough...

Wait, what.
Keypad doesn't work for me, what black magic is this?!
Burn the witch! jk, we would never burn you, local, even if the world depended on you dying.

That came out worse than expected.

<shrugs>
i think it's just certain keyboards where the keypad doesn't process simultaneous input correctly...

i've got both of these, but the 'laptop-wireless' is for the couch (with a trackpad) - the white beast (which is wired in my circumstance) is at my terminal with a (donated) lenovo optical mouse...
