What happened to the "Retrieve the There Might Be Riots Band from their hideout and bring them to do a concert in the Deep" mission?

I accepted the mission to find the band "There might be Riots" and bring them to Midgard, Aludra, but I couldn't find the band, and I started doing other missions; and now the mission seems to have disappeared from my mission list. I might have received a message at the bottom of screen, but I didn't see it. Do I need this mission to receive a City-Ship license? And is there any way to retrieve the mission? Thx

Have you checked your save game file (in a simple txt application such as notepad), to see whether the mission has "failed" as status?

According to a webpage walk through on Endless sky,

Mission: "Deep: TMBR 0"
Name: `Find "There Might Be Riots"`
Description: `Find and convince "There Might Be Riots" to throw a concert on
Midgard.`
Source: not system "Aludra"
Attributes: "deep"

I found this in my text file.
"Deep: TMBR 0: failed"

Any suggestions? Does it make any difference?

that mission is timed, in case you forgot where you dropped them last it was in hai space

i dont remember if it was require for the license but i think it didnt though, would need confirmation

If you don't find them anymore where @hellminister says, you may want to try editing the save game file (take a backup first!) and try to undo the failed status.
I don't recall whether that's done by removing the failed line, or whether you need to change the status to something like "offered", hopefully some other people have better memories than me...
