Escort Missions for Mystery Cube Chain?

What kind of combat rating do I need to get the escort missions for the Mystery Cube Chain? I've mostly been delivering passengers and making small cargo runs, and mostly running from pirates, so I don't have any combat rating at the moment. I really want the City Ship License, which I understand requires completing a chain of missions including the mystery cubes.

So to reiterate, what combat rating do I need to get these escort/convoy missions to unlock the mystery deliveries, and do they originate in the deep or go to the deep?

You need 100+ combat rating to take a mission "Gaining an Edge". It's somethere in the middle of chain

The Deep convoy missions spawn from spaceports in the Deep, and require a combat rating of between 4 and 5 (in the player info screen).
