some qustions (spoilers) about boarding ships, nerve gas, korath raider's worldship, and the navy
first is it possable to get a fleet member to board the ship for you.
secondly, is nerve gas the best H2H wepon in the game or are there better ones.
third, is there a place/Rement misson (after the first time you do it) that a worldship enters without thousand of other ships that overwelm you.
and finally, is the navy the only ships that hand out fines (so i can capture a worldship with nerve gas).
oh yeah if there are any tips for capturing a korath raiders worldship, let me know. Thanks

1) No
2) Yes, it is the best as of right now
3) No
4) As of right now, yes. The Navy is the only faction that has ships that scan you. But, almost all factions have a chance to fine you whenever you land on one of their planets.

2) rather depends on how you define "best", but there isn't anything meaningfully better right now.

Tips, find a mission ship, take it's turrets, get lucky, get really lucky, realise that it probably wasn't worth the time you spent to get it.

Unfortunately there is no way to have a fleet member board a ship fpr you.
Nerve gas is the ultimate available H2H weapon but rest assured that anywhere you land (except on pirate planets) you'll be fined for it's possesion.
If you get a good enough fleet you can enter Korath worlds and your fleet will disable Worldships for you to plunder. Even if you manage to capture one of them there is no Outfitter to put a jump drive on it so you can take it somewhere else making capturing moot.
Some people claimed that they have cptured the Worldship from the Korath mission, I've tried about 10 times using different recipes and failed, except when I used a mod (West Iron) that provides a ship with 1000 bunks, even at that point I had to use nerve gas to capture it(!!!). What happened next? there was no enemy to go against it (and the supporting fleet) making the game a bore, trust me on that.
P.S. Those who claim to have captured it DO NOT reveal how they did it, I suppose I'm the only one that admits using a mod. It is so hard to capture because of the Korath anti-intrusion measures, they are the best in the game, cost exactly 0 credits and take exactly 0 outfit space BUT they are not plunderable, so you have to capture a Korath ship (Raider), sell it and then buy them (for 0 credits) from the outfitter..
BTW I tried the attrition method which seems a bit logical. That is try to board it, at the moment you run out of crew you stop and land, you replenish your crew and go again chewing a bit at a time. Well it doesn't work!!! Obviously the Korath propagate worse than rabits cause even though the worldship could not move snd remained disabled, every time it's crew had risen back to the initial number!!!

If i recall correctly from my own attempts at the world ship, it's just a matter of luck. Even with the best equipment, the odds are something like 1/100,000. It's possible but you'd basically be playing a small loterry to suceed.

Rather than not reveal it, we've mentioned the strategy countless times over on the discord and here.

And anyway, the chance of capturing a WS with that strategy is only 0.1%. So you can't fault us for why we're like this.
Also, in 0.9.9, the Korath will get H2H weaponry, making that percentage a flat 0%.

World-Ship but that's not much use to you. What you want is a Bactrian.

It's an almost entirely defenseive outfit so won't be of much use towards your goal.

I guess that was some time ago and I missed the Steam mentioning. I think that something like this should be pinned. There is always some new guy trying to do it.
And PLEASE don't tell me that it is a spoiler, those who have not met it, would not understand and/or need it. On the other hand it will motivate people to go further into the game, finish storylines, to be able to attempt it.

The strat was to fill a Baccy with nothing but bunks, full crew, nerve gas, the smallest engines(Coalition, iirc), the wanderer's WS hunt and just max out bunks.
That would get you up to, at best, 0.1%.
But when 0.9.9 comes, that goes to zero, so if you really want to try it, you should do it now.
Also, only a handful of people actually beat the WS, so ya.
