Mod recommendation?

Long story short,

im looking for a bunch of mods for my next playtrough.

Anyone know of any good mods?

Im looking mostly for added content (ships, weapons, ets), quality of life changes and that sort of things.
Dont want mods that overhaul the game.

Any help would be appreciated! (i will ofc look for mods myself but i also want to see what people like)

Current game with those and a few more all running fine and man, it's brutal 8->
- Adamas-Project # nice new content, stories
- Adde-Endless-Sky-{Irm, Aben, Omnis} # Omnis is OP though it can be quality of life only if restraining yourself
- Amalgamation # super nice new content combo!
- Beccas-Endless-Expansion # lots of luv i.e. work, polishing here
- BetterVanillaPirates # with MOAR fun and danger comes moar wealth
- Czartraks-Ship-Pack # and some say the Bactri is big / OP...
- Eternals # ever wanted some music while playing ES?
- The animated ships

i have a slightly biased opinion, but plenty of people will back me up: best mod that suits your request.

as far as mods go, this one is as close to "official" as they get (going so far as a person-ship in the next release telling you to look for it).

edit: a little more about the "official" bit - UP was originally published around the same time as ES was put on Steam, has been more-or-less maintained in the meantime, has more 5-star ratings than the Official FAQ Guide, and was a precursor to me adding content to the base game. the person-ship in-game has been earned, and they plug the plugin as a means to informing the community how plugin content can be installed/created (since even a google search of "Ursa Polaris" will bring up the plugin home-guide as the top result).
