Boarding Ships with Allied Ships

Is there a way to tell a ship within my fleet to board a downed (enemy) ship? My flagship is built more for combat than cargo, and I would like to tell one of my cargo ships to board them (I cry every time I'm unable to take a fusion reactor)

unfortunately no, only the flagship can board, loot and captur and so far, there is no way to dock with your own ships for the purpose of redistributing the loot nor reorganizing the crews.

Much more profitable to max bunks on your flagship and cap whole ships. You don't have to pay whole ships value when a single guy dies during capture any more. Behemoth is a good choice if you cant afford the Bactrian. (and has a bit of space for fusion reactors) Also worth considering taking a few(dozen) freighters as pirate bait/antimissile(and they can each hold a fusion reactor in cargo)

oh forgot to mention you can dump cargo in the info screen(i key) just make sure you are on top of the escort you want to transfer goods to(argosy also makes for a decent plundering flagship if you cant afford either of the big b name ships)

Yeah, I've resorted to doing this until I found out if I could use other ships (which I apparently can't)

Also, thank you for this little tidbit. I don't know why I never thought of it. I've been dumping any excess, but it's been in vain thus far.

Use the follow command on your cargo ships so they are almost on top of you, then u dump cargo.
