[Spoilers] Deep Storyline missions

So I heard about a Deep storyline and when you finish it, they will give you a city ship license to buy the Bactrian, so I went around the systems in the Deep and clicked on the spaceport but there weren't many missions. Here are the missions I have done:

I have done two mission where I needed to bring ships to other systems for supplies and then come back.

I did the mission where I have to find the band "There Might Be Riots" in the Hai and bring them back for a concert (and yes I found the Hai).

I did the mission where I had to retrieve the data from the pod that the scientests need where the wormhole that leads to the Ember waste is (altho I already know how to access the wormhole)

I did this mission where I saved a girl with a billion credit chips in her backpack and then went to the free world to give, but in the end they were returned to the Navy.

I did the mission where this Navy officer wanted to ask me some questions about that piece of wood i took from the church from the Deep archology mission.

I think that's all the Deep mission I did, but i heard about this mystery cube mission but i don't know how to triggure it? Do i have to spam spaceport in every system because it's not working or is in the job board where the mission are? And how many mission are there?

I don't know but are there any stroyline missions related to the regmant after the mission where I retrieve the data from the pod in the system with the wormhole? I also have gotten the regmant license and compleated the other story missions in the regmant.

Are there any more missions I missed in order to get the city ship licence? Also by the way, I got a Bactrian in v0.9.8 and then switched to v0.9.9 so i'm a bit worried that will effect something.

The TMBR mission, the mission with the archaeologist, and the mission with the girl and the stolen credits are unrelated.
At the end of each of those missions where you escort a number of ships a long distance, you are told by the Deep Security guards to check the jobs board for "mystery delivery" and "mystery retrieval" jobs. My guess is that you just haven't done that yet. Finish three of those and the next mission should offer in the spaceports of the Deep shortly afterward.

The mystery delivery and retrieval jobs will continually appear, as they are repeatable jobs that aren't limited by your progress in the story. You don't need to do all three escort missions in order to progress, you just need to do three of the mystery jobs. The only way you can be locked out of the city ship license is if you decline or fail a mission; there's no way for you to "miss" a mission and never get it again.

What use for the city ship licence? Maybe to get big ships such as the Bactrian? In such case I find it cheaper (and more fun) to « buy » it from pirates.

I don't think you can buy the bactrian from pirates and not everyone wants to got through the effort of finding and capping one.

The Bactrian is the biggest purchasable ship with the largest crew so there isn't any effort to capture one. Anyway, I got my city ship license so thanks for the help!!

I'm very thankful for the advice listed so far, but I can't find the convoy missions on the job board and I'm not sure which planet/system I need to go to. Also not sure if this is the right approach: i.e. if they can only be found at a certain planet by going to the spaceport. My combat rating is 3.0 currently, so do I need to raise that rating before I can do the convoy missions? Also, this might be a dumb question, but are the convoy missions the same as the "escort" missions? If so, I've already done at least 4 of those.

Dead Jim, I'm pretty sure that the escort missions are the convoy missions. The convoy missions require you to escort a fleet of Freighters/Mules to a system that they specify. The Deep officer who gives you the mission will also tell you where pirates will be on your way there and back.

Thanks a bunch FIxITYondu! Also I noticed that the OP answered my question about where to go to find the missions. However, I don't think I've done any of the Deep Convoy Missions as they don't sound familiar, but I have an Opsrey right now with a standard loadout except that I've replaced the two Quad Blaster Turrets with 1 Heavy Laser Turret and I wondered: do I have enough firepower to handle the pirates I'm going to meet on the convoy missions? Or should I invest in one of the non-Bactrian heavy warships like the Falcon or Leviathan(I don't mind spending that much money if it gets me a Bactrian in the long run)?
Edit: When I said the Convoy Missions don't sound familiar, I meant I've escorted individual ships on some missions, but no convoys, i.e. groups of ships.

For anyone still playing this, it took me a long time to figure the below info out, so passing it along to others - you CANNOT start the City Ship license quests if you are primarily using passenger ships such as a Star Queen. You will HAVE to have a warship of some kind (or possibly a heavily armed freighter?) and proven yourself in battle for the proper escort and mystery cube jobs to show up.

I attempted getting these missions for a very long time before finally figuring this out. I hope this helps others!
