How to do "Hunt down XXX ship" quest?

Hi, it is me again, recently I've accepted quests like "Hunt down XXX ship".
Yet I couldn't be able to finish any of those quest, I've been roaming in the space at the quest's system for half an hour and no said ship appear...
Could someone point me out pleaase ?

The ships will spawn in nearby systems.

it will be within a set amount of jumps of where it was last spotted, that set amount is usually 3.

2~3, depending on whether you are fighting Marauder fleets or just a bounty ship.

Indeed. Up to 2 for single ships and up to 3 for marauder fleets.
