How to complete map

How do you reach the parts of the map that are disconnected? help please!

Head south, spam spaceports until you start the story, follow the story.

the stuff triggers randomly on all free worlds planets. bring up the political map by pressing on the system owner in the top left corner in the map screen.

Buy a map everywhere you can, they sell those on every system with an outfitter. Head south and start the storyline there by doing the quests the free worlds offer you, open your map and click government to display all the territories you've come across and don't karate chop anyone.
