Chapter Three gets a boost!

Hellooo!

Here is the QoL update. Chapter Three has received some new content to help flesh things out a little. I have also addressed some bugs and minor issues.

For those unaware, I have now closed the Discord channel. I have found that there is such an excess of Discord channels out there that it was not an optimal way to reach out to the community. I will now focus on updating everyone via the Steam Community Hub and via a free newsletter through Patreon[www.patreon.com].

Twitch streaming for the development of Silver Lake National Park will happen soon. I'll announce via the newsletter when this starts up. But for now, you can follow the studio on Twitch[www.twitch.tv] and get the alert when I go live.

A quick note: I was originally calling this a Major Update; however, I think 'Major' might have been a bit misleading to some people, as it was mostly world-building rather than major mechanics/gameplay changes. So I have renamed it to a Minor Update. I have also restructured how I'm doing version numbers. They will now be: (major).(minor).(patch).(hotfix).

Chapter Three Additions

Cave New Content

Introduces a new character, Oliver.
Day 2: New conversation with Harper and Oliver.

Campsite Day New Content

Replaced the old diner with a brand-new one that you can walk into. I was going to have a new scene for this, but felt it looked so much nicer in the space.
Introduced a new character: Oakley, who runs the diner. You can have conversations and collect snacks and water.
Day 2: Conversation with Jack outside of the cave + added a supply locker for world-building; in preparation for Silver Lake National Park game.
Day 3: New eavesdrop in the diner with Harper and Oliver.
Added a hawk flying in the sky. You might not be able to see it, but if you do, please take a screenshot.

Reported collider issues

Chapter Two Clinic: Colliders for the doctor and the plant
Chapter Three Camp Day: Collider for the truck.
Chapter Three Ranger Station: Wall collider.

Chapter 3

Dialogue portraits showing thinking and anger when appropriate.
Tweaked dialogue in Ranger Station
Campsite Day - Day 3: Fred's conversation is now working.
Conversations will no longer repeat when moving between scenes.

Some inventory items were not showing up.

Hey everyone, It would be great if people can list their bugs in here. Usually, the information I need is: what the issue is, the day, Character you interacted with, What events lead up to it, etc. Screenshots are always super helpful as well. If they are performance issues, please provide your PC specs. Bugs will be fixed as soon as possible, with the most impacting taking priority. Demo needs more options ----

Can't easily control the mouse without option to lower some of the tools ---- had to get a refund. Looks like a nice game, though, and will check back when more work has been done.

Wolf sense?

Hi, The controls menu shows an option for 'wolf sense' using the Tab key, but this doesn't seem to do anything in the game. Is the wolf sense mechanic in the current version of the game?

World Bipolar Day

It's 30th March 2026, and that means it's World Bipolar Day. Today is about raising awareness about the condition to help reduce stigma.

The date was chosen to coincide with Vincent van Gogh’s birthday, a historical figure believed to have lived with the disorder. From historical figures to modern icons like Stephen Fry, many people live full, successful lives with this diagnosis. Because symptoms vary so much between individuals, you often can't "tell" someone has it just by looking at them.

This is why education is so vital. If you’d like to learn more or find support, these are fantastic resources:

QOL Update: The Last Werewolf.

Just a quick update on the progress of the next update for The Last Werewolf. There is a delay due to some work/life balance issues, which I'm hoping will settle soon.

This update will address reported bugs and some additional content.

In Development: Silver Lake National Park

I know what you’re thinking: "How is there a new game coming if the update is delayed?" The good news is that the core systems for Silver Lake National Park are already established. Most of the remaining work is simply importing assets into the engine.
