Earning More Points

Do you gain more points for a new game to spend in the Custom Lord function each time you beat the game?
...just asking before I go doing the exact same thing I did. It's been too long since I last played and my Google skills are horrible, apparently.

No, the amount of starting points is fixed. However there is an exploit to get more points I'd you are inclined. This may not work with the newest patches, I haven't done it in awhile. In the lord editor pick the most expensive weapon you can afford and drag it to the item bar at the top of the screen. Do not drag it into your lords hand. When you see it in the bar, drag it back into the original place in the store to refund it. Now move your mouse back to the item bar at the top and hover. You should see a tool tip for a ghost duplicate of your item. Click on where it should be and you refund it again. Repeat as needed.

There's another way as well. This works with all current patches.

Drag an expensive artifact to your bar up top and release. Move it to your lord, then drag it back down to the artifact list.

Save, then load.

You'll have the points you had before plus any artifacts you had dragged around.

Rinse and repeat till you have your desired set up.

I tried both my way and Jimmy's way but couldn't get them to work as described. I did however find out one that does work for sure:

Drag artifact to top bar
Drag artifact to Lords inventory
Right click ghost item in top bar to get refund
Repeat 5 times for 3 champions for total 15 free artifacts.

Start with the most epxenisve ones and work your way down. You can also refund some of your experience to get more points initally if you can't quite afford something.

There are also ways of getting more legit points in the vanilla game simply by choosing certain items that grant extra exp then reselling a portion of that exp back for more barter points. Specifically with items that grant a hefty 2000 exp, from level 3 it puts you to exactly level 5.5 and you can then resell some more of that exp back (1500 pretty sure) leaving you at level 3 with 500 exp and extra barter points.
