Any suggestions for end game champions?
I play champion in my group, which is awesome. But eventually we get to a point where simply can't stand up to the waves/base defence on my own. Which i guess is okay, i am just one ship after all, even if i not so happy that can get killed instantly. But be that as it may, i wonder what peoples favorite ship/build is, especially for endgame?

I prefere the "human" one for its raw firepower normally 4-5 shields, 8 laser/6 needler/6 MRLS (sometimes only 4 and then 2 something else).

human with 4xshield + 1 heavy beam or misiles or drones, weapons are 1/3 paralyzers rest doom. You can also try lasers rail cannons etc depending on your needs (hull type bonus and more range on these), but paralyzers are always great, and doom is always decent dps. If you are goign to kite hard drop the shields for heavy beam cannons (range + dps), keep the paralyzers/drones to protect you from damage, but otherwise pick the longest range weapons.

I don't like zenith but they can have paralyzers so they work fine.

spire is good for kiting masses of slower enemies (like 5k bombers vs just you), three or so shields, and rest photon lance, you'll melt them, it has good range and th enemies will be mostly line up behind you, complete the build with rails on your minor weapons for the range. Vs units that almost match your speed, range, or don't line up you can use other weapons line siege guns vs carriers instead, that way instead of doing long laps you can do circles out of range around them while dropping bombs. Shields recharge if they aren't destroyed so they exist to give you an hp buffer you have to tail it for them to recharge don't get them destroyed.

When you aren't kiting you have to position well so photon lances hit in a straight line when they start surrounding you you have to move away so they line up again behind you, if you can't then the rail cannons might be better.

neinzul with 3shields +2 drones, 3 missiles + 2 drones or all drones (got vampirism so you dont require the shields if you go into a battle they won't last, but if you know they can last then have up to 3 shields because the drones dont do that much damage anyway to need to so many), weapons are all insanity (if plenty of mkIV and lesser, all doom (if needing damage instead vs mkV or immune to reclaim), or lasers if needing to kite hard vs immunes (longer range). Whenever there are plenty mkIV or less and you got insanity available neinzul is the best, otherwise it isn't that great.

I f you are sure of the hull type you should be fighting against then bring the weapon with big multiplier against them, otherwise doom is a safe bet.

also if the issue is survivability and not damage then use a bomber or interceptor module instead (same on modular fortresses)

Spire with half shields and half photon lances. I think I use lasers in the light slots, not like they really matter with the damage that the lances put out.
