Any way to play with all ships?

I just wanted to know if there were a way to unlock all available ships without grinding through hours worth of missions. The idea of a campaign mode is neat, but the lack of a freeplay mode really takes away from the value of this as a "simulator" for me.

Having recently worked on large container ships, I wanted to see how well this simulator simulates real life ship handling. That being said, I will not spend hours doing "drive between fishing points" missions to unlock a ship in a simulator.

I feel like there must be an option or game mode somewhere that I am missing. Thankyou for the help.

Yeah, that's actually good feedback and hope the devs will implement it asap.

As far as i know, but i haven't played it much, you need to go with te missions.

I will talk with the team about a free play mode. We had a lot of requests to add a career progression, then we had a lot of requests to remove career progression once we implemented a career system. It's tough to keep everyone happy, but will do my best to come up with a solution.

To add in my two cents, the people that want career mode can ignore the free play mode and stick to career mode. In the games current state, those who want a freeplay mode dont have the option of ignoring the career mode and sticking to a free play mode.

Great feedback. I have just started playing this and was wondering why there is no Free Roam with any ship mode myself.

Hey there,

There is now a rental system in place allowing you to rent ships from the Ship Store at a much lower cost than buying them, so this should allow you to play with all the ships without having to do quite so many missions.

I really don't see the point in not including a free play / unlimited money
