Determine game age when using random?

I default to using a random age, but I can't figure out how to find out what age got used.

Every age but dark ages and agriculture have special buildings you can find on the map

Empire - Capital
Fallen Empire - Haunted Capital
Monarchy - Kings Castle
New Empire - Single Square caital

I suppose that's some help, but the ages supposedly have different levels of things like bandits and wild creatures roaming about. It'd help to know the age when I'm planning my expansion. I suppose I could roll a die to pick age instead of letting it do random for me.

Pretty much what HBE said, theres other things as well, such as the amount of forrests and settlements that gives it away. A dark-age might be good for a druid but bad for a empire player. The converse is also true of a Empire game.
