Maximum values for some blessing bonuses?
Just used some mod to gain large amount of resources and boost el blessing about 50 times. It seems that certain bonus are capped and then now longer selected; usually moral and hp have about same probability, but hp is now stuck at + 10 (for standard units), but morale already at +25.

Here are the values i got to, when using bolster devotion 44 times:
morale +24
strength +2
hit points +10 (which is higher for higher hp units, e.g. celstial lion +15)
magic resistance +3
armor +2
pierce resistance
awe +3
fire shield 2

Awe might not yet be maxed as it increased somwhere aroung 40th use. But all other things did not change about since 25th use.

Anyone can confirm this?

(I might also have a weird row with morale being constantly rolled)

can confirm, I think armor has another level though. In the end only morale will improve, my units got 100 morale after a lot of bolster devotions while the other stats stayed the same.

At 71 times its now:

morale +50
strength +2
hit points +10 (which is higher for higher hp units, e.g. celstial lion +15)
magic resistance +3
armor +2
pierce resistance
awe +3
fire shield 3


seems like everything except morale is limited to the above values

Interestingly the armour seems to be base armour, rather than bonus armour. For example, Paladin's don't get any bonus armour from the Blessing.

Probably WAD, making it bonus armour would make it incredibly powerful, borderline OP, mostly because that'd make all the Templars and Paladins have 5 Armour.

Yeah, maybe. Though your argument would also be valid for some other blessings, like awe and pierce resistance. Templars with a lot of blessings ARE incredibly powerful.

Yes, but they don't just become impervious to crossbows, which they would be with Pierce+Armour 5

A couple of my Friends have run into this problem, which was hilarious. I just got thrashed in a game where I was randomly asigned Voice of El, which was no less hilarious, though ironically so given my reputation with the Class in COEIII.

The Class is completely and utterly broken now. It just can't compete with the other Classes once the mid game rolls by and Troll King has dozens of Dragons, and even the Dwarf Queens 100's of Heavy Guard and Arbalest armies chuckle at the meekness of what Voice of El is capable of.

This is what made the Class tier 1.

And without it, it's not even fit enough to make tier 5. I hope the Developers revert it back to how it was. I could do it myself, but the people I play with would never agree to it. Sad days...

I'm pretty sure I could kill you with a Baron before you even got to the point of trying to do that. How is that in any way, shape or form mid-game.
Unless it's on a 90x90 map or something, even then, it's *highly* disingenious to call that "mid-game".

I don't meen to be mean or anything, but I seriously doubt it. I've played ludicrously insane amounts of Conquest of Elysium 3. I have something like a 1000 hours on Steam's game time tracker, but that only tracks one executable at a time, and I was running between four and six games at a time.

Also, sadly, the Baron Class was a lot weaker in Conquest of Elysium 3. Alongside the Dwarf Queen and Senator, it was one of those Classes that was eliminated quite early off.

I had a look through you're Games Library and couldn't find Conquest of Elysium 3, maybe you own it elsewhere or have played it at a Friends house, I try not to judge people based on what is or isn't on their Steam Profile.

So to clarify, the Screenshot is from Conquest of Elysium 3, not Conquest of Elysium 4, despite the similarities, they are two different games. Also you're quoting "mid-game" when in actuality the Screenshot is labeled "mid-late game", the difference might seem subtle, but the two are not interchangeable. However, mid game was categorized as being between 3000 and 10000 units on the map, while mid-late game was categorized as being between 10000 and 20000 units on the map. So really the two phases are worlds apart from on another.

Again, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just very passionate about the Conquest of Elysium series, especially 3 and 4, two games which I've sunk quite a great deal of time and effort into.

and tollymain you have no reason to be like this even if its not your MID game it still is END game and he is talking about multiplayer which is a whole diffrent ball game then vs ais.
