might be a game crash event or system related errors. an error msg would help.
if you have steam cloud turned on, try turning it off then try saving.

and
check cloud_log.txt and cloud_log.previous.txt files in folder
...\steam\logs
lines with appid 403640 are about this game
might be an error msg
saves are located in folder
c:\users\YourWIndowsLogin\Saved Games\Arkane Studios\Dishonored2\base\savegame
check antivirus log and also windows security/controlled folder access. maybe they got turned on.
Hi! Yes, it is Windows. Sorry for not mentioning that in the main post. I forgot.
I tried turning off the cloud and it did not work. When I found the 403640 file in the program files, there were no text files inside. And under steam logs, there were none labeled with 403640. I don't know how to check antivirus logs or security files.
I haven't gotten any error messages from steam, that I know of
in windows search, type reliability
view reliability history should appear. run that.
