Doesn't Launch On Steam Deck
Anyone else have this issue going on? I tried the skip intro command but that doesn't work and I also tried Proton Experimental. Fresh install too. I played the game on PC before, could that have screwed it up?

Since you do have a deck, I would recommend for you to consult with Steam's "great on deck" list of verified games before purchasing them. Dishonored and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is listed, but strangely Dishonored 2 isn't.

I didn't see any mention of Steam deck on the store page, remote play on a tablet and tv is not the same thing.

Edit: Unless a game is listed on Steam's link of titles that are 'great on deck', you can't assume the game's been verified.

Well it's right there on the steam store page listed as "playable" under deck compatibility...

"remote play on a tablet and tv is not the same thing." NS Sherlock.

Countless games can't be verified because of slightly small text, or because you have to manually bring up the keyboard once or some other very minor stuff but play perfectly.
Not being verified doesn't mean they don't play great on deck, it's important to look beyond steam for actual clarification.

I see no mention of deck compatibility

I am having trouble launching the game on my desktop. Maybe we are having the same problem? I don't get any error messages or anything. I've checked all of the general support things, and there's no problems there.

Edit: The solution posted here fixed the problem for me. Not sure if it'll work for you since you're on Deck and that is AMD, but it should be worth a try: https://steamcommunity.com/app/403640/discussions/0/4514379914255308660/

Pretty much every game on steam (all?) show their steam deck compatibility on the store page. it's right above the Age rating and achievement lists and under the listing of features such as "single player, steam cloud etc" and the list of languages... really not sure how you can miss it.
It's the same place for every game.
