Now available on GOG
The entire Dishonored collection has been added to GOG.com, DRM free, if anyone's interested.

GOG is ♥♥♥♥ compared to Steam. They had their niche of old games, but any new game was expensive and without the features Steam provides. Now there is barely any game that is not available for Steam. So the base model of GOG is dying.
I remember years ago when EA did Origin and Ubisoft their Uplay and ofc Blizzard still their Battlenet. But these days Battlenet is worthless, Origin aside from the C&C series too, and Uplay has a hard time, because the last few Assassin´s Creed titles were far from great.

Only Steam is growing and has a huge variety. And if there is no SALE, well just buy steamkeys in the net and activate.. usually steamkeys these days are cheaper than any other platform like Origin,Uplay,etc..^^

Well that escalated quickly. It's just a suggestion, since the Steam version has Denuvo, so this is much more consumer friendly. No need to be such a crankypants.

You completely miss the whole point of GOG, though... it's that there's a complete lack of any DRM whatsoever in everything you buy there... that is TRUE ownership of the things you buy... on Steam, you're just buying access to your games

https://www.gog.com/game/dishonored_complete_collection
GOG pricing: 21€ ???
lol.. that is much higher than cheap steamkeys for Dishonored 1 +2 + Death of the Outsider
fast check: 11-12€ depending on payment

Always the same.. Steam SALE 70-80% kills the competition.. and if there is no Sale, then check the alternative sellers. There is barely any GOG game, that is way cheaper than on Steam.

You're STILL missing the point... probably because you just like to speak and not listen. If you want to OWN the games you buy, you buy on GOG... if you want to just have ACCESS to the games you pay for, you buy on Steam... there's a distinct difference as to why people prefer to buy on GOG over Steam... and sometimes paying more for the same game is worth it... because you actually OWN the game you buy... no restrictions, ever.

OK kid, you guys are just fanboys and resistant to the obvious truth. I have a GOG account, and tested it for about 1 year. My personal summary (story of problems with purchased games) for GOG is very different from the Merchandise promise ;D

In the End GOG and STEAM are competitors. GOG´s mother company is CD Projekt. Yes the same guys that almost went bankrupt a few years ago.. But thanks to the Witcher series they could retro-buy and go stock exchange. These days they do the same business as Steam.. promote and sell games. And they also fired quite some employees last year.. they are driven to be more profitable! So please get your facts right.. The original GoodOldGames idea to promote old game jewels is long gone.

All this "GOG is better crap".. just stupid. If you proclaim anything, why not the Epic Games Store eh? Even they don´t work for free. They even enforce exclusive contracts. So.. get informed first before you spout nonsense everywhere.

No real gamer cares for DRM-free. DRM is not worse, it´s better. High functionality, Stored data, cloud functions, updates, always the latest version, etc..
Well, GOG Galaxy even supports other platforms like steam, just to make sure they can win Steam players one day..

In the end STEAM wins , hands down. But it´s similar to Microsoft, there is always some people that think Apple is better.. and of course never bring any facts to the table! So if you think GOG is that great, why are you even here?? Oh forgot, Marketing.. winning new customers :D

Then no, it doesn't have Denovo.

I'm just waiting for the "well, actually" crowd to show up, but yeah, this is why I prefer GOG where possible.

OK, kid. People "resistant to the obvious truth" just need to have a different opinion to be classified as fanboys.

So what?

No. What happened is that it's 2020. The original Dishonored is now a Good Old Game. The original premise is still intact. If a growing number of companies want to release new games on the platform as well, that's great. That's additional consumer choice, which is a good thing.

Throwing shade at Galaxy 2.0 for trying to integrate all gaming platforms?

I thought Denovo was removed from this game?
GIT GUD! Feb 20, 2020 @ 5:27pm
It's on sale on GOG right now, has the performance issues been fixed?

Define 'fixed'. I use 2700x and 1660ti and lowest I have gotten is 55fps. I use max fov and all other settings. Though I lowered my settings to account for the drop. If you expect the originals performance or even half that then no will never be 'fixed'. It only runs slightly worse or equal to Doom 2016.
