New to Dishonored 2 - Which Difficulty Setting?
I played Dishonored 1 and found the normal difficulty on that a cakewalk. Should I opt for Hard setting on this one?

I typically play stealth and have read others say that D2 is more punishing for remaining hidden.

Not sure either if I should play as Emily or Corvo.

Thx!

The highest, the game lets you adjust the difficulty in the settings at any point, so just turn it down if you start thinking it's too hard. Generally for Stealth games you'd want the A.I, to be at its 'smartest' as to make them behave somewhat realistically and able to provide a challenge.
You only get to experience the game for the first time once, playing it on normal now will taint the higher difficulties later, because knowing the game already will make everything much easier.

Emily makes the most sense for a first or only playthrough from a story standpoint, and she gives you new toys to play with, compared to what you're already familiar with from Corvo.

Thx Pafti! I think the very hardest may be too extreme for me so I'll set it for Hard and play as Emily.

I see no difference, really. The only thing that makes it challenging is disabling the bubbles or the mark on the guards head that shows you when you are getting close to being spotted

I agree that you should play as Emily first, and do Corvo on your second playthrough. I find Corvo better for high chaos runs while Emily is great for low chaos.
