Crashing after walking through the balcony doors to go Dunwall streets

Crashing everytime I walk through the doors on the balcony to get to the Dunwall streets at the start of the game, I've tried lowering/turning off every setting, running d2 as admin and in compatibility mode with windows 7, running windowed mode, and limiting screen refresh rate to 1080 @ 60hz instead of 1440 @ 144hz. But crashes everytime I walk through those doors without receving any error code.

Specs:
- i5 6600k
- GTX 1070
- 16GB Ram
- Windows 10

Did you whitelist/disable it for the game?

Steam and its games often run as false-positives in a number of virus scanners, and more recently Bitdefender has become a rampantly draconic "you cannot run this! it may be bad!" problem for gamers.

Yeah, I'm using bitdefender. It's given me a couple false positives in the past which were kinda annoying, I whitelisted dishonored 2's directory / exe and its all good now.
