Getting the Silence achievement
Anyone got this yet and if so, how did you do it? Went through maintenance and shot him with a sleep dart through the elevator door without him or his guards seeing me but it still didn't unlock. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I got it with a sleep dart although I was on the hanging lamp above him. I also don't remember if I got it right then or after I brainwiped him.

I took the same route, but went left after the elevator and sneaked up on him. Only the right clockwork's patrolling & the left one's idle IIRC. So you could simply take the longer way around to avoid its fov and melee kill / eleminate him.

I went around the left side of the gap, waited in the little alcove until the CW on the right (his left) walked away. The other one does not activate. As CWs see front and back but not to the side I just walked up to Jin, had a good look around, choked him, carried him out to the chair and did the deed(s) and got the achievement.

I think the achievement only pops up when Jindosh has been fully dealt with because you have to do it without him ever knowing you were there. After you do what you have to do he will never know.

Maybe he detected u once u entered the clockwork mansion? U should stay hidden when he starts babbling stuff over the intercom (once u activate the first switch I quickly hid somewhere so he got irritated and said something that the alarm/system must have been triggered by fault)

Wrong.

He must not know you're in the mansion whatsoever. No intercom talks from him.

Wrong. I got the achievement and when u sneak in and enter the first room, u can either evade through the glas windows in ceiling or through the floor when u hit the switch. I did second and found myself in the "backstage" area and I could hear his voice saying welcome but then hesitated and stated that there's nobody there and it must have been an error or something.

... That means I'm right. Almost. Moreso than any of the previous comments, in any case.

Well I just stated that jindosh was talking over the intercom and I still got the achievement. Surely u wanna avoid him, that's what the achievement is all about. How could that be wrong if I played it and can confirm that it worked?

You're supposed to ignore the switch. Hitting it notifies him that someone entered the mansion, and then he starts monitoring your actions.
I guess they put in some leeway even if you do hit the switch.

yes this is the way, avoid the first switch, instead look up and shoot the glass ceiling and you go from there. Do not use any switch until you eliminate Jin.

Yeah I think so. Ignore the switch is without a doubt the best way to go. I guess I was lucky then.

It's not just a no one can see you, it's a he can't know anyone is in the house. No switches till he's taken care of. After you kill him or scrub his brain you can go exploring.
There's a glass roof thing in the second room in the house, you can bolt a window, teleport up there, and work your way to him from there. Off the top of my head... Left from the window, down the hallway, open a window, take out the 2 guards, theres a third in front of the elevator, deal with him, up the elevator a floor, take out 2 more guards, the next room has a balcony, out on it, to the right follow the pipes, go in the hatch, up a floor, and your on the floor with the machine. I just teleport behind him when the robot is on the other side, dart him, wait for the robot to get near the desk, rewire him, let him take out the other robot then go about shocking evil inventors.
