I'm always restart PC when install new drivers.
Simply use 'Full Install' and tick the box below, don't fiddle around in the Nvidia Folder deleting the old manually... Because if you delete them manually it's also possible that 'Quick Install' doesnt work anymore and 'Full Install' also make Problems and then you will almost need to use DDU first...

Well, apparently the new Drivers are bugged, some say the GPU Clock is suddenly limited to low for GTX1080, so it's probably better to wait for the next one and stick with the current one anyway for now... LOL!
Infact for now i'm still with actual drivers (nope the new drivers), becuz for me is no sense becuz need patch Bethesda.
