21:9 ultra wide screen support?
Anyone here tried Dishonored 2 on an ultra wide, or know if it supports 21:9?
I've heard performance in general isn't so good, so if you are running it in 21:9, what's your performance and settings been, and on what hardware?
Thanks for the info.

Has good support for 21:9, runs on mine very nicely. Like most other people are suffering with, the FPS is rather up and down, with high settings and maximum AA my i5 6600K/GTX 970 can go between 80+ FPS down to 35-40 in the early open area level. Hoping the patch will sort things out regarding that, but otherwise 21:9 runs fine.

3440x1440 gtx1080
I get 60fps in closed areas with some drops, and 40-60 in open areas, Ultra settings.
I'm sure if they fix it it will run 60fps easily even in open areas.

Here also 21:9 3440x1440
Never drops for me below 60fps anywhere. Everything on ultra, only HBAO+ is turned off because I see no difference vs performance gain with it off.
My setup:
i7 5930k 3.5GHz
2xGTX 1080 sli (I know the game does't really support sli)
32GB RAM
SSD Samsung 850 EVO

Thanks guys!
I've got a new 3440x1440 monitor on the way, and my hardware is pretty similar to Tom's (970 and an i5), so I'll probably pick Dishonored 2 up once the screen arrives.
21:9 support itself is great.
I'm running 2560x1080 on a GTX 1070 gaming X and the performance combined with the erratic mouse behaviour is downright vomit inducing.
Game itself is great, though. You might wanna wait a little bit till it's (hopefully) fixed.

I'd watch to see what the verdict on performance is once the patch hits because the game will be unplayable for you at 3440*1440 and the quality presets make very little difference to performance at present.

^Have they said when that patch is coming out?

The game runs fine at ultrawide. Start and beaten with it. No issues.

Yeah it does it pretty well.

Supposed to be this week, but don't be too surprised if it's next week.

^Cool. Well, it'll probably be next week before the screen shows up anyway.

He's using a GTX 970 which less than half as fast as that Titan X... It's going to be horrible.

^If it's still horrible after the patch, then I'll lower the settings, the res, or I'll use my old monitor.
Or I'll just upgrade.

As Ze Kaptin intimated a 970 will not necessarily struggle at that res, but you will have to lower the settings significantly. Which for an ultra wide is less than ideal.
I used to rock two 970s but these days sli isn't reliable.
I'd personally recommend at least a 1070 or even 980ti..
