I get 60fps in closed areas with some drops, and 40-60 in open areas, Ultra settings.
I'm sure if they fix it it will run 60fps easily even in open areas.
Never drops for me below 60fps anywhere. Everything on ultra, only HBAO+ is turned off because I see no difference vs performance gain with it off.
My setup:
i7 5930k 3.5GHz
2xGTX 1080 sli (I know the game does't really support sli)
32GB RAM
SSD Samsung 850 EVO
I've got a new 3440x1440 monitor on the way, and my hardware is pretty similar to Tom's (970 and an i5), so I'll probably pick Dishonored 2 up once the screen arrives.
I'm running 2560x1080 on a GTX 1070 gaming X and the performance combined with the erratic mouse behaviour is downright vomit inducing.
Game itself is great, though. You might wanna wait a little bit till it's (hopefully) fixed.

Supposed to be this week, but don't be too surprised if it's next week.
Or I'll just upgrade.
As Ze Kaptin intimated a 970 will not necessarily struggle at that res, but you will have to lower the settings significantly. Which for an ultra wide is less than ideal.
I used to rock two 970s but these days sli isn't reliable.
I'd personally recommend at least a 1070 or even 980ti..
