Dishonored 2 - screen resolution chanegs at launch

So basically my display resolution is 1920x1080 but when i launch dishonored 2, it sets it to 1680x1050 for my entire computer and i have to change it in the game settings to get it back as normal. Any ideas how can i fix it ?

There may be multiple factors playing into this. A way would be the following:
1. Locate the config file in C:\Users\{yourusername}\SavedGames\Arkane Studios\Dishonored2\base\
2. Search for the screen height and width entry keys and change their value to the desired ones
3. Save the file and make it read-only (This however will disallow the Game to write any other values into it, so if you change settings in the game, they will be gone after a restart!)
If this does not fix it, the problem might be somewhere else!

Edit: This might be totally unnecessary and there is a easier way I can't think of right now!

Hey, i did this with Notepad++ and set it to read-only but the game still resets it 1680 x 1050 and i cannot seem to fix it , i also tried loading it witht he launch ooptions "-windowed" which i had to do to get dishonored 1 to run
