Also, just because you kinda suck at the combat, doesn't mean it's a bad system. It's an excellent combat system, you need practice.

An odd combination which I don't know what to really make of.
No kills isn't the same as not being 'discovered'.
I just remember to quicksave often and move on.
Builds make a difference I'm sure. Example: early I chose the modifier for parry that allows me to choke to knockout on a successful parry regardless if they swing or not, facing me or not, etc.
This allows me to teleport right up to them and spam the parry till I have them in a chokehold for non lethal. Feels cheesy, but it works... Like I said, I don't really know what to make of it, playing for the story more than anything.
Being stealthy and stabbing soldiers in the face is so much more satisfying than trying to have a sword fight.
