Oh no! I think my game is ruined!

I’ve returned to my save in the Dust District from last night, and I had saved it when one of the dust storms took place, but now the dust storm sound effect only plays and won't stop - regardless of where I am and if the dust storm is active or not. I can’t hear anything other than the dust storm! This happens on my only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quick save and an autosave!!

It’s a great sound effect and all that but it’s impossible to play the whole level like this!!!

Not sure what to do. Hope the devs catch this one so no one else has to suffer it...

I've had that a few times before, don't worry though as when the next storm comes through and ends it has always finally stopped the sound effect for me.
It's a pain waiting for it though as it's so loud!

yep, can just find a safe place to sit for a little bit, turn down sound on your pc and grab a cup of tea/coffee. it'll soon fix itself.
