Changing my game save file location on harddrive?
Hey guys. I just realized the game was saving the game files to my OS SSD and its making it run out of space and now I can't save anymore. Can I do something to redirect it to a different folder on another hard drive? Thanks in advance.

Your save files, or the game itself? Your wording confuses me.

If you mean the whole game, then (top left): Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Locations folder.

Add a new folder for game installs on your second drive, then go to Dishonored 2, click install, and it will prompt you on which drive you want to install the game.

If you mean only savegames, then I don't think so. But they're only a few MB each?

I mean save file location. It goes automatically to my C-Drive which is a low gig SSD that basically has my OS and thats about it. Its already loaded with saves at this point and just notified me ingame I have no room to save anymore at the moment.

the save files are about 1/5 of a MB each, you need to get a bigger OS hard drive or you will run out of room the next time anything updates

You'll probably have to make room by deleting something else. :/ No way to change that as far as I'm aware. Checked several .cfg files and couldn't find anything.
That seems kinda lame it defaults to the C Drive with no way to change that. I guess I will have to. Thanks guys.

you can change it. right click on the save game folder under your user name, properties, location tab and then press the Move button.

Oh yeah, it never occured to me that it fell under the same category as a My Documents location. Nice one.
Oh ok I don't know why I didn't see that. Thanks for your help.

The savefiles take from 430KB to 700KB each. (each save-folder 630 - 960KB each)
You really should move / delete somoething else. Maybe your Download folder..

yeah sometimes we overlook the simplest of solutions, glad I could help :)
I actually have another question. When I moved the files using the move command. its continuing to create a new folder with the save files back on drive C. Is there a way to change that? or will I just have to physically move the file if it becomes loaded again?

File Manager, Righ Click "Saved Games", Properties: You get this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813401493
Change the path to where ever you want it, and click Move.
For some reason the location tab as shown in your picture is absent from my properties window. I am running on total admin priviledges too so I don't know why it wouldn't be there.
